Conditions of Entry by Land

All visitors entering the Seychelles should have a negative PCR test taken maximum 72hrs before departure.

All visitors must have a valid travel health insurance to cover potential COVID-19 related costs (isolation, quarantine, and treatment).

No visa is required for entry into Seychelles, all visitors must however, apply for entry through the Health Travel Authorisation platform at seychelles.govtas.com. This health authorisation is essential for travel and will be required at check in. Visitors will not be allowed to board a flight otherwise.


Conditions of Entry by Sea 

Visitors and crew entering Seychelles by sea must seek approval from their health travel authorization to the Public Health Authority via email pha@health.gov.sc                                                                                              

All travellers arriving by sea must have spent 14 days from the last port of call during this period crew and passengers should be without symptoms of COVID-19.

Arrival PCR test is not required. Early disembarkation is authorised on the condition that upon arrival crew and visitors undertake a PCR test (at a cost) or must provide proof of completion of COVID-19 vaccination.

It is a requirement that any illness suffered by crew and passengers is reported to the management of the yachts/liveaboards company or to the Public Health Authority.

EXIT PCR Testing

Exit PCR testing is not required by Seychelles Authorities unless, this is a requirement of the airline or the country of destination.

PCR testing facilities are available on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue as well as island resorts.

Visitors requiring test must contact the Public Health Authority or any private clinics providing the service.

Test Cost SCR 2, 500 per person. Effective May 24, 2021, PCR Test expenses will be applicable for children below the age of 12 years and persons of 63 years and above.
